Our Ruby Dora, with her 181 rooms, is set in the legendary Corvin Palace on one of Budapest's grand boulevards, right between Keleti station and the historic old town. From the glamour of the roaring 1920s to today's buzzing café and bar culture, Budapest has always known how to keep the good times rolling. Inspired by the building's history and by Hungarian sculptor Szigfrid Pongrácz's four sculptures of Pandora crowning the palace, a symbol that even after turbulent times hope always finds its way back into the world, we created a space that reflects the city's enduring spirit and love for lively gatherings. With the Danube, the historic centre and countless cafés just a short stroll away, Ruby Dora places you right where Budapest comes alive.

We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

The role is set to start in January, just in time for the opening in February. First Interviews are planned for November.

Trust us, you won't get bored, as you:

  • prepare cocktails, drinks, and delicious snacks with a few skilled moves, ensuring smooth and seamless service
  • let your imagination run wild and create your own drinks, depending on the season
  • know what's trending, support your lead in designing the bar menu, and use your skills to assist with bar training for the team
  • take on various tasks in the service area and support other front desk activities
  • roll up your sleeves when it comes to goods receiving, inspection, and storage, always keeping an eye on the perfect mise-en-place according to our setups and standards
  • share your insider tips with our guests, pointing them to the best hotspots in the city

We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:

  • previous experience in a similar position, ideally in lifestyle hotels or at the bar hotspots of your city
  • flexible and ready to work in shifts
  • counting reliability, multitasking and your willingness to learn among your strengths
  • empathetic with others and love sharing your enthusiasm with those around you
  • a great sense of humour, enjoy working in a team, and love interacting with our guests
  • fluent in English
