Facilities Operations Manager / Budapest (m/f/d)
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead Facilities Management services within one of the world's most prestigious financial institutions, operating in a fast-paced environment where service excellence, operational resilience, and stakeholder engagement are critical to success.
As the Facilities Management Operations Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day facilities operations across a portfolio of approximately 25,000 m² supporting around 3,000 employees. Leading both in-house and external teams, you will ensure seamless service delivery, drive operational performance, manage risk, and continuously enhance the workplace experience.
This role requires a visible, engaging professional who can build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and balance strategic priorities with operational execution.

How you add value:
Leading all operational Facilities Management activities across the Budapest portfolio.
Building strong partnerships with client's stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor for workplace operations.
Managing and developing CBRE and supplier teams to deliver exceptional service standards.
Overseeing the delivery of integrated hard and soft FM services within a critical business environment.
Driving performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs while identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Maintaining full responsibility for operational budgets, forecasting, reporting, and cost control.
Managing supplier contracts and vendor performance to ensure quality, compliance, and value.
Supporting workplace projects, refurbishments, MAC programs, and business change initiatives.
Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and statutory requirements.
Leading business continuity planning, operational risk management, and emergency preparedness activities.
Continually looking for ways to improve service delivery, workplace experience, and operational efficiency.

Who are we Looking For?:
Proven Facilities Management experience within a large corporate, commercial, banking, financial services, or complex multi-site environment.
Demonstrated success leading integrated FM operations and supplier management programs.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior client representatives and business leaders.
Commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership, cost management, and reporting.
Good understanding of building systems, workplace services, compliance, and operational risk management.
Experience managing services in a live, fast-paced environment where business continuity is essential.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to make decisions and drive outcomes.
Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Fluent English and Hungarian.
