About the Opportunity

Join Ericsson's Security & Platform Design team as the architect behind our enterprise cloud networking infrastructure.

You'll design and build scalable, resilient network solutions that enable secure connectivity across global operations on Google Cloud. This is a hands-on role combining strategic thinking with real implementation—working closely with application, security, and platform teams to solve connectivity challenges at scale. You'll have direct ownership over network strategy, hybrid cloud architecture, and how thousands of users connect securely to cloud resources.

This role offers genuine technical ownership, visible impact on enterprise operations, and the opportunity to shape cloud networking strategy—ideal preparation for senior network architecture or platform leadership positions.

What You Will Do

• Design and build central networking capabilities on Google Cloud including VPCs, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls at enterprise scale
• Implement and automate network deployments using Terraform, Cloud Router, and infrastructure-as-code practices across large-scale environments
• Solve complex connectivity challenges including hybrid cloud integration, multi-region architecture, and high-availability network design
• Support application and platform teams with network onboarding, migrations, troubleshooting, and first-mile cloud connectivity enablement
• Drive network automation initiatives to eliminate manual operations, improve consistency, and accelerate deployment cycles
• Own end-to-end delivery of networking solutions: from architecture and implementation through operational excellence and security hardening

What You Will Bring

Essential Experience:

• Deep working experience in Google Cloud (or in any other cloud provider) networking (VPCs, Hybrid Connectivity, Cloud Router, Load Balancing, DNS, firewalls)
• Strong background in network security, Terraform, automation, and troubleshooting
• Proven track record delivering cloud networking transformations, hybrid connectivity solutions, or large-scale migrations
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement real network solutions, not just create diagrams
