Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with some years of experience and strong English knowledge. As an AP Accountant you will be responsible for all accounts payable activities and AP reconciliations, and will work for the European entities. The Accountant plays a key role in supporting financial integrity and operational efficiency.


What will you be doing?

This position will include recording all vendor balances in Accounts Payable, registration of all AP invoices in the ERP, managing AP mailboxes and addressing supplier queries. Your responsibilities will also include

    • Reconciliation of all supplier balances with supplier statements and the general ledger
    • Invoice matching to purchase orders, checking correct payments, and following authorization procedures and invoice approval process
    • Initiating and posting daily and weekly vendor and customer payments
    • Creating and monitoring payment file releases to banks from the system
    • Handling rejected payments and resolving issues regarding outstanding ones
    • Managing urgent payment ticket requests.

Who are You?

Ideally, you are a Qualified accountant and /or have a college degree in finance and accounting.
We are pleased, in case you have similar work experience in finance and accounting, with some shared services center experience. As we are a shared service, English is a must.

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role, you need to

  • have a communication level of English knowledge (daily usage can be expected both in written and verbal), a proactive, team player, “can-do” attitude.
  • Hungarian language is a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
