road manager - Budapest

We are searching for an Excellence Manager in the field of Road transportation to join our business to help drive forward the best logistics services available in the market

A pozíció leírása

You will be offering 4PL logistics services to our prestigious client providing innovative imaging solutions and technologies. This role involves independent work and collaboration with various teams, but does not include direct personnel management.

Leendő munkatársunk feladatai

• Build and maintain commercial relationships with logistics service providers (LSPs);
• Manage selection processes (e.g., RFQ) and negotiate optimal commercial terms;
• Recommend optimized LSP selections to customers and oversee LSP integration into KN Integrated Logistics;
• Monitor LSP performance against KPIs and lead regular management meetings for improvement;
• Support network analysis, engineering, and continuous improvement efforts;
• Handle purchase orders (creation, confirmation, adjustments) and liaise with the finance team;
• Analyze PO status, address supplier billing issues, and support annual budget planning and cost forecasting.

A munkakör betöltéséhez szükséges

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the international transportation and/or in a logistics project environment;
• Excellent market knowledge of and/or logistics transportation, reverse logistics and warehousing suppliers, preferable in Road Logistics;
• Strong understanding of project management discipline and solutions;
• Knowledge of tendering and LSP implementation is desired;
• Commercial attitude to build partnership and relations with suppliers based on trust and reliability;
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
• Ability to travel up to 20 %, as an average depending on necessity;
Advanced level of English. Any other language is beneficial
