As part of the Markets Controllers Analytics Team you will work with a team of diverse and supportive professionals, who are representing Markets Controllers in end-to-end process transformation programs in the areas of Adjustment Reduction, SACCR RWA and Data Quality.

Product Control Senior Analyst

This role requires a significant understanding of the Markets Controllers function as well as ability to work effectively at all levels and partnering with our key stakeholders and other functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Data Analysis and tracing to identify key Data Quality Issues impacting Markets Controllers and determining root cause.
  • Creating ideas and insight of how the Markets Controllers process can be improved, simplified and operate more effectively
  • Contributing to the execution of regulatory remediation related to Data Quality Issues.
  • Working closely and establish excellent business relationships with all areas of the Finance department, liaising with the Risk Management, Finance Technology and Front Office Technology teams
  • Efficiently solving complex, ambiguous problems/situations and identify opportunities to add value.
  • Using effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focus on recurring issues and drive through enhancement projects and systems fixes

Ideal background:

  • 6+ years experience in a related role
  • Experience in financial control, valuation or related discipline
  • Financial products and valuation related knowledge
  • Evidence of robust control focus
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong PC skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Hands-on. Must have a good eye for detail, but also be able to step back and see the bigger strategic picture
  • Hard-working, resilient and tenacious
