I really enjoyed my job. I loved working with children. Playing with them, watching them learn and grow. I did a Circle Time with them every morning, we did Abc's, counted, worked on colors and shapes, recognizing their name and birthdays. It wasn't just a paycheck for me, I got joy out of it. I couldn't deal with the poor management and the way they treated employees. Worst part of the job. I hated that I had to leave after 3yrs but it was for the best.
Working for a non-profit is both time consuming and rewarding. You work for your community and those that it assists. In turn you make a difference in others lives and you are able to raise a family while working full time
A typical work day would be maintaining the pool/hot tub chemicals, making sure the pipes are working, and keeping the deck a safe space. Being ready for anything to happen in and off of the pool deck is the most important thing.
never a dull moment, huge influence, meet new people everyday, there’s always something to do
