Worked there when it was with i3 Innovus. It was fine. Nice co-workers. Comfortable building. Didn't like it when they changed annual salary to hourly wage.

Work from home

If you love customer service. This is the job for you. It could get annoying because they do listen and grade your calls. You have to hit metrics across the board. You have to get surveys even tho pol put of them before they even get connected to a representative. You constantly have to apologize to get a great sentiment score. Oh and if you have back to back calls they expect you to work each account during the call or in 20 seconds after the caller hangs up

Stable consistence but will want more

Great company and team, Litte advancement high turnover. If you want to go up the latter for career advancement next o impossible which explains the high turnover.

You get hired and go through a training. Most trainees don't last most dont last after 3 months. Training is OK. You get ignored sometimes when asking questions or eyes rolled . And learn by actually getting thrown in with the calls. Normal call center 15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch. And you get about 7 seconds till the next call. No bathroom breaks unless you want to mess up your #s Over all workers seem nice. But company is very micromanaged as in every high corporate job. Pay is decent for the job. Hard to switch positions if you want a different one. Over all a OK job for call center. Benifets are not the best for a healthcare provider

productive but unpredictable

Great environment to work, Great teamwork but no job security, they use you and throw you at the same speed they hire you. They lay off employees in bulk and in groups, this looks very hostile and humiliating environment.

Encourages burnout

There was usually plenty of work to do, but it took a miracle to be able to create a new position for the department. Layoffs/reorg are not unusual even with record profits. High proportion of “managers” to workers, raises/bonuses low compared to profits. Awesome if mgr likes you, not so much if not.

Excellent place to work

Excellent place to work. Work, home, and balance. Excellent benefits and pay. Room for growth. The only con is that is productivity based and your work will be audited.

Best place to work, learn everything you can to be more of an asset for professionals growth. I love working here and will most likely retire from UHG.

M&R (Medicare and Retirement) Department going down hill

M&R is so bad! I was a appeals coordinator and worked case setup too. Management has favoritism, HR will listen to you but will side with management ultimately. Retaliation and termination and layoffs are often happening in this department. Watch out all the jobs are going to IRELAND OFFICE. This management team is from Ireland so every employee in the U.S feels under valued and overlooked for every advancement opportunity. Benefits are not that great and supervisors do not know the work the employees do on a daily basis to give feedback correctly, This department is a no! stay AWAY

Hostile environment created by management

Management looks to blame others for their mistakes, they turn everyone against each other. When things don’t go their way it’s made very clear their intentions are to make work unbearable for you. They make you look like a bad guy and in some cases try to go after your career not just the job.

Very little pay and stressful environment

Managers here don't care about what you have going on. They want you to work a ridiculous number of claims per day and they don't pay good. Even after working here for almost 10 years I make less than some people that just started on my team. They micromanage and expect you to "move your mouse" your entire shift, if not they will pick with you and ask what you're doing every minute of the day. This is a very stressful work environment, there isn't much room for advancement, and you're just another number.

Productive fun work place. I learned a lot. PTO was amazing. Training was superior. It was a comfortable place with job security. All my questions were answered when asked.

Stable company to work for

I love working for the company, I am a telecommuter and I am able to work from the comfort of my home. The company offer great benefits as well as pay. The company invites employees feedback to help improve the company if any changes are needed.

Terrible and Mind numbing

Callers are rude. Most employees have a very high sense of self importance. Management is down right rude and un-supportive. I would not recommend working here.

Good job

Good job. Nice location and good health incentives. Very strict adherence. Required overtime during peak season. Overall a decent place to work if you can’t stick with it.

Supportive workplace, okay hours

Great training and supportive management. Would say the con is the shift hours, they are given to you by shift bid and you cannot change it until the next shift bid.

Interesting position

Worked in Medicare Sales. Very thorough training. Emphasized truly helping the client live healthy lives. Offered opportunity for growth and advancement.

Coaches don't know anything. SOPs need to be rewritten. Can't move up with company unless you're a favorite. Too much gossip even though you sit at your desk all day, always a rumor starting. Just nit a positive place to work for. Loved it the first couple days and them just went downhill from there. Bummer.

Great supportive place to work

Good company to work for. Thorough training, awesome benefits, supportive management and great coworkers. Lots of opportunities for advancement and even different positions within the company. Performance raises which I liked.
