If you have no life at home and no family to come home to, def a job for you. mandatory overtime if short staffed. On call every single day. Peak season is INSANE so be prepared to work every single day for 10 hours at least. Great pay, awesome co workers, great training, LLV(mail trucks) break down every other day, No AC obviously but you get used to that. Management sucks. one supervisor tells you one thing, next supervisor tells you another. In order to get benefits you have to become a regular, in which that takes several years. Once you become a regular and get your own route, you're golden and set for life. You just have to be used and abused til you get there.
As a Holiday Clerk Assistant, perform basically a majority of work as Postal Service Employee. Work is physically demanding of the body where you are dealing with heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, etc. of mail or containers. Co-workers and pay is good. Ideal job for younger aged generation. May not be ideal for older ones. Constantly on your feet and moving with alot of walking required. If you desire good pay and have the strength and stamina, this is ideal.
