I worked for 3 years so far and I've been working 6 days a week, 10+ hour days for almost a year straight. You have no time to do anything as an RCA. You get no paid time off. Management makes a new rule every day. I was really excited to have this job at first because the pay is great. Everything else sucks though.

If you want to advance and accept the responsibility there are numerous opportunities. Educational achievement is somewhat important yet the culture is similar to crabs in a bucket. So you will need to be cautious yet very professional.

I had to ask union APWU to see if I could get a shift change because of pregnancy. It took a lil while but by Dr orders my shift was changed. It was difficult but the union made sure I received a shift change.
