Money is good. Have to wait over a year to become “regular “ to get full perks of job. First years, work 6 days a week. Then you will have 2 days off. Overtime pay is worth it. Can make up to 2,000 a paycheck with holiday paychecks. You will work 24/7 at first.
Rural carrier position is a fun position, it is a stressful job due to large rural carrier routes. Things I'm learning at this job are different streets and areas of the city in which I live. Work atmosphere is fun and educational.
Decent job if you are young, don't wait until after you are 40 to start carrying mail, pay is decent but not worth the work strain, management is amazing...at my office anyhow, I could not ask for a better boss!!!
