Management is not forth right when hiring about true hours and demands. Internal management has unrealistic expectations for work staff in regard to delivery demands since the addition of Sunday delivery with more work and the same or less of a workforce. Carriers are tired and burnt out and lower management has hands tied as to changing the work environment. If you want good pay and are single and can wait years for a full time position then this is the place for you. If you have a family beware this job will give you no home time and no flexibility in regard to ever seeing a concert,sporting event or anything your child does on a weekend.

Management has long been the postal services problem. Practices including willful ignorance of regulations, racism, nepotism, and job creation for personnel non grata are commonplace. Adherence to safety regulations is subject to management discretion. Those who try hard are taken advantage of. Those who do their job as described are considered lazy. Those who can't do as much but give it everything they have are targeted and black labeled. Management has had no choice but to recruit non career employees into management because most career employees know the insisted-upon standards and practices are detrimental to morale, service, and profit.

Not able to have a life oitside of work. Schedule is 6days straight with 10hour shifts. Its caused me to have depression & anxiety. Unfair treatment of lower ranked employees. "Regulars" pass all the work off to lower ranks and supervisors allow it.
