a typical day at work began about 7 am and would end until about 5-7 pm you worked alone all day in the heat and cold. The mail bag would be very heavy. just depend on who the manager was some were nice some were not The hardest part of my job was not being able to have days off and the long physical hours they required you to work
The U.S. Postal Service undervalues and underappreciates both its Carrier and its Clerk workforce. Yes, both are fairly compensated financially. But both are treated as "burdens" to management and not as the backbone of the service that they are.

The supervisors were really nice and helpful. Even part time employees were given appreciation often. Everyone got along. A lot of manual work and not for the faint of heart, but with good work ethic you'll have the time of your life
