You get hired on as a "temp" more or less and told of all the great benefits you will get once you make career (full time) yet it takes years to get to this point. During your stent as a "temp" you get almost no benefits, just straight pay and are worked to death. literally. you essentially have no rights, and can almost be fired at will. Most management is horrible and have no idea how to do your job, yet they tell you how you should be doing it. Inept & stupid rules & policies that hamper you from doing your job efficiently. Money is good, but it's a lot of BS to put up with for it.
high hourly pay, great benefits once you make career
long days, physical work, bad management
The job was as good as the management. Management was in a constant state of tension with the labor force. The Old carrier were stuck in their ways and refused to change and the unions at times made it difficult for themselves. I am sad to say that the exterior facade covered many problems and issues that still exist today. Perhaps that is why they struggle to be a viable organization.
Maintain personnel medical records, perform new employee drug and vision tests, instruct CPR classes for remote sites, and administer appropriate care for employees during working hours CONTRACTED POSITION
Enjoyed working there
It Is Very Fast Pace Which Is Good. I Learned How Mail Gets From Point A To Point B. Management Had Very Poor People Skills. Hardest Part Of The Job Was Management Not Managing. The Most Enjoyable Was The People That Make It Work My Coworkers.

the veteran friendship, that a person (fellow veteran) develops while employeed by the postal services.
this job is not, the place that i'd want to spend the better part of any of my life at.
Its a great organization in which employees work synchronized in order to accomplish a common goal; to deliver a service in a timely manner at a minimum cost.I learned to identify the critical areas in wish we would need assistance and to prioritize those areas with management; It veries daily. The majority of co-workers are exellent individuals that understand the common goal. The hardest part of the job is Meeting the daily dedlines.Going home knowing that you accomplish your goals and that your efforts are appriciated. Working on different areas often also helps.
good money, great benefits
must holydays are spend at work
Working here was a great experience. The benefits and pay was above standards. The required training was given, and the managers definitely encouraged questions and self-evaluations.
definitely value the employee
