There are plenty of opportunities if you put in the time and effort. Work can be very demanding during peak season as expected but there is a sense of accomplishment once you get through it.

it was very hard work ,and managers where sometimes under a lot of stress . Lots of turn over and during the holiday it was not unusual to not get a break

gets real busy during peak season. opportunities to pick up extra shifts for some extra bucks. Great benefits decent part time shift add on to a regular full time job

Stressful and very long hours. Stressful and very long hours. Stressful and very long hours. Day in and day out. Not worth your time.I spent years providing for but not seeing my family. Your reward to doing well is getting more work and you are expected to do that new amount regularly.

No protections or rights for employees not in the union. Very sparatic work. This is a place in line for a job someday, not for people that need money to live.

Horrible place to work. I’ve worked here twice and it was terrible both times. Managers are terrible the training suck and most of the coworkers are young and very childish

Good associates but, overwhelming

The people I worked with were awesome and life long friends but, it was an overwhelming workplace. Being left alone customers expect you need to be all places at one so that they can leave. It’s understandable but, I can only do so much. With a toxic boss did not make the job worth it.

Fast Paced

Thrown in at deep end but they invest time and effort in their staff. If you are driven and put in the work you will reap the rewards. It's difficult and there us a lot of movement of staff.

Poor communication and Management skills in the Company. UPS treat employees very poor. Managers are negative and will never talk to you unless it is a bad situation, they’re zero positive vibes in Management.

Management push numbers and have no problem replacing workers that don't perform. The work is very repetitive which can be good or bad depending on your personality.

Ok place to get money during the holidays.

Job description says up to 35 hours but on average you will be working 4 hours or less a day. You could technically work more if you constantly call dispatch to see if anyone needs help. Your hours are chipped away once the seasonal drivers start working.The orientation was immensely rushed and not professional. The training list was confusing, almost like egg hunting to complete training. Work was straightforward. You walk a lot and carry packages all day so be ready for that. Weekly pay. Work varies depending on the driver you get to work with.I heard the most demanding place is working at malls.

It's a workplace that kills your soul.

They push and lie to employees. Rewarding employees with more work for doing a good job. Not stable hours, one day 6 hours, next day 3 hours. Unstable start time.

Fun workplace

Everyone was so nice and helpful! Best job I’ve ever had. I really wish I could’ve been hired for a permanent position. The pay was very good as well.

Excellent Benefits

Ups is an excellent company to work for. Unfortunately, Homestead Florida management treats employees bad at times and there is little room for advancement. Will favor employees based off their personal relationships with them rather than how well they do the job. I highly recommend working for the company, but not at that location.
