I like the flexibility of Shiftsmart in that it allows me to choose when I want to work instead of having a set schedule. This helps because I share a vehicle with family members and don’t always know when I will have access. I also like the 4 hour shifts personally, I hate jobs that are 8 hours or more and could never accept being around people I don’t like doing things I don’t want to do for that length of time each day, week, month. There are problems with Shiftsmart though. Sometimes you will show up to a location and not be given clock in codes which means you have to struggle through entering this in the app and it always delays your payment. Or you go to a location and the manager or employee in charge doesn’t know anything and will not give you clear directions. I have been having a harder and harder time getting my payments processed in a timely fashion which never used to happen. It really puts you in a bad mood and throws your next day out of balance.

80 hour work weeks with no overtime pay. Really was excited ! I've put blood sweat and tears/years into it for it seems as this point

Just a job for people that do not want to move up the ladder.. just need some extra money. Is it real? I've made probably 100k here but that was an average of probably 11.00 an hour 80 hr work weeks.Never got promoted. Not once. Thought I'd be noticed one day. Great company to make side money with. I suppose I took it too seriously.Thought my work would pay off

Good Contract Work

You will learn which locations which you prefer. Most employees that I have interacted with are really nice. Most really appreciate you because you are making their job easier. Can be physically exhausting. Overall, not difficult and a great way to make extra money. I have never had an issue with pay.

Very easy and convenient

You get to pick your own shifts and hours and get paid within two days of working! It’s a good app when you need to make ends meet especially. I’m excited for the top golf opportunity !

Independent Work with good support

I was a contracted property inspector with Shiftsmart. The property’s were all managed by Kasa Living. All work was completed thru the app, The supervisor was available via app or phone. I loved the job and it paid great! Shiftsmart unfortunately doesn’t have a lot of gigs and the few others they did offer underpaid.

A great job that worked with my schedule on my life.

Every day was a different experience because I would pick the stores that I wanted to work at and I knew that if one of the stores was difficult for any reason, I would always be able to go to the next one with a great attitude.

I really love working for Shiftsmart because I work for all the Circle K and I meet different people! I really love it when a manager from another store see me at another store they ask me when am I going to come back to their store

What is the best part of working at the company?I like the fact you work at your own convenience there are no specific preferences you have just do the hrs you’re scheduled for and you’re done.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?It’s stressful sometimes when some of the stores don’t use shift smart and you’ve traveled so many miles to get to a certain place and the store do the turn always it still inconvenient for you to travel that far and work What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Some of the stores you come across some very beautiful people as far as management and the staff you can’t say that for all of them but it’s ok so farWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?It’s busy, you have something to do always nothing stressful or hard mostly light duty work

Disgraceful place to work.

In the beginning this was a pretty decent gig. key word in that sentence: IN THE BEGINNING. After a while the app was glitchy, the managers don't respond quick enough and oh the best part... If you have an issue, say like in my case your phone messes up and you can't complete your shift, shiftsmart will kick you out, no questions asked!! It doesn't matter if your a good employee for as long as you work for them, something dire happens from your phone being out of commission or God forbid, your mom dies and you can't complete a shift they boot you out! See ya wouldn't want to be ya! My biggest hope is that everyone gets a good paying job that they enjoy and stop giving these PREDATORS a leg up in screwing people over!!!

The concept is ideal but the application of the idea through this venu is seriously lacking. The software is by far one of the worst applications i have encounter. Good luck if you chance it. You NEVER get to speak to humans.

Very dissatisfied with my with Shift Smart right now

Lately, I’m very dissatisfied and I’m not happy with the App or the company considering I worked for months and been a great day employee for every place that I’ve worked. But now, even though I remain that I been penalized for other peoples doing, I have not gotten paid on time for any of my jobs lately And I get no responses back quick enough

And most of all when it says you're going in to do 1 type of work and end up having to do another type or lose the hours.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Depends on which task your sent to do and what store. Some stores are great and have a team and task are done correctly and respectfully. And then are some places that I have personally been treated really bad to point it should be consider abusive. But with this job I can choose not to go back to that store. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Depends on the location, some days its cleaning other times its merchandising, and some other tasks are inspections, photo opts, mystery shopping and safety inspections.

It's been a nice opportunity to make money but each store is different so you get a lot of different personalities some really nice some rude(like talking under their breath about you) buy other than that it's a been well.

They have there ups and downs. The app has a couple glitches and it is hard to get In touch with anyone. Other then that it's been smoooooth sailing.

I like the work when I can get a shift

Very difficult to obtain sufficient shifts. Communication with the company when you have an issue that needs attention takes some time before it's seen or responded to.
