The management at Sam’s is incredibly toxic. They say one thing than did the other. They don’t value anyone, they just make life harder and expect you to obey. It’s not for the thin skinned. It’s not for anyone, really.

If you work retail, Sam's Club is the place to be. Customers are generally nice and work pace is acceptable. Management is always coming up with new ideas that are not always well received and many don't stick.

Micromanagement or no management at all. There was so many empty promises about your schedule, request days off, employee treatment, especially raises, transfers and advancements. You get a work area assigned upon hiring. You can be placed in any other area at Management's discretion. Management believes you need them more than they need you. They pay more than most places, so it will be tougher to quit for a different job. Having a 2nd job or college is frowned upon because that limits the availability when they can use and abuse you.

Very nice coworkers that work there. But the people pushing carts will play hide and seek on you. You’ll be left out there with no help. Cart pusher broke. Body feels terrible. Worse job I’ve ever had for low pay.

The people I worked with are awesome but some of the managers are more concerned about the point system than keeping good workers they say they care but most don’t give a rats butt your golden if you put up with work loads and have no issues but watch out if you get to close on the points system they absolutely have no sympathy

You will hardly get scheduled,mainly on weekends and holidays, the bathrooms are always dirty, not good if you have real bills to pay, i do not recommend.

What I've learned so far about the company is you have to keep on top of things like CBL(s) on your own time be that stay after work for a few minutes or get there early. overall I think if you manage to stay with the company it can be fun and rewarding.

The worst place I have EVER WORKED!!! They will threaten you constantly with losing your job! If you bring something to attention you become a target! I learned the only ones who stay are those who will not stick up or stand up for themselves!! I have seen employees quite due to the way they were spoken to by management. This company has absolutely ZERO compassion for the employees. You will do the job of 10 people but you still won't be appreciated. Steer clear of this place!

Poor pay. Lack of help. People quit after a few weeks. Alot of heavy lifting. You have to do the job of two people alot of the time. If they need help in other areas they will move you, but you still have you jod to watch over.

I worked 4am-12:30pm. It was a nice shift and pretty easy brainless work. Typical place, you’re a good worker, you have to do everyone else’s job too. Management cared more about promoting their friends than the people who actually did the job.
