pushing a large passenger in a wheel chair on a carpet floor isnt easy plus the gates are really far. the tsa isnt helping as well some of them are nice though.

Hr is so strict and they don’t help you at all. Unorganized and not professional

Nothing is followed by the rules, they have favoritism so if they don’t like you they will find a reason to fire you. Management is very poor and nobody cares. Employees have drama. No holidays off at all. Very little pay for the type of work required. It is not good place to work , welcoming at first but very shady.

The worst most unprofessional and unorganized company I've ever worked for in my life

What is the best part of working at the company?This company is the worst company you could ever work for! I was terminated for putting in the wrong pin when trying to get through Gates. The crazy part is I never put in the wrong pin. I just tried to get in the gate by trying my 4 digit pin again, pressing pound and scanning my i.d. The door at the gate stayed red so I never opened it! I asked if I could speak to someone in United so they can prove I put in the wrong pin! They denied me that and stated United Airline's terminated me and how I can never work for them or Prospect ever again! I'm so heart broken because I loved my job and to know that it's rigged for people not to last long makes me do angry and regretful that I waited 2 months to get in to work for this company and to be fired off of false accusations with no valid proof was astonishing! No one could work for Prospect services or United!What is the most stressful part about working at the company?You can get fired or suspended for liesWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Horrible due to many personality disorders and rude managersWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?Feel like your job is on the line every day

they Half 4$$ train you and get upset and fire you because of lack of communication and understanding from the half 4$$ training they give you which doesn’t make any sense and they’re willing to write you up for anything

The managers a rude and if you don’t kiss up you get fired they pick on everyone that that does their job they they have no caring if your sick at the job

Depends on the day

Sometimes you meet great people and have very little issues. Other times it is total chaos. The pay isn't that great. Management could be better. Good if you want exercise though.

Airport environment is great for those who enjoy meeting new people and being of service. Very fast paced job, can be challenging but builds strength. Very strict of course. However, management can be quite much. Some people are very rude and outrageous.

Please don't apply this company it's the worst company ever. Poor supervision and management and most of employees are so obsessed with tips and unfriendly as they don't speak english it's hard to made friends

Need more capacity building and training. Care for employees. You don’t just fired without 3 warning letters.

What is the best part of working at the company?We interact with different people from different countries and the tips.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Helping people to reach to their gate especially those disabled people that can’t walk good. I really like helping people.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The working environment is little difficult to work because everyday we get new employee will out experience.

Good place to work at because of the tips and time goes by fast. For sure would recommend young high school kids to join for an easy job. What else can

I have meet some nice employees there.

Upper management doesn’t care about their employees and that’s why they don’t keep employees for a long period of time. Employees get fed up with upper management because they don’t tell you when your hired that there’s mandatory overtime every single day. I was hired for the hours from 4am to 12:30 pm and never got off at that time. In fact before I started work I had to sign an agreement that I committed the hours from 4am to 12:30 pm. Upper management posted in a group chat that supervisors and managers hours had been changed to 9.5 hours, so I had an extra hour added to my schedule. I would get off 1:30 or 2pm. Prospect doesn’t care about what family commitments you have. Either you work them or get fired.

As far as the job goes it’s good. But management is horrible

I don’t know about prospect in general but prospect is SLC sucks the management is horrible they will change your schedule without telling you and if you ask for a schedule change it will never happen. They have no respect for their employees. The supervisors are great and the other PSA’s are good. I would never recommend this job to anyone. THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE.

This job states that it is optional if you would like to help push wheelchairs but they will load your board up if they are understaffed The people in the UM room assigning your board will make sure that it is hard for you to get from one gate to the next in the required time frame

UM Review

The UM Room is nice but sooooo hypocritical. They have restrooms and vending machines with signs saying for children only... no problem except that the staff use it... select staff and then they frown on us when we use them? If it's for 1 it's for all. Leaders are supposed to set the example the rest of us follow. Here it's basically the blind leading the blind. Training is non existing. Pretty much gotta learn on your own. Terrible management unfortunately.

The company itself is great but as far as the employees, it’s horrible. I’ve never worked for a company that hires 16-17 year olds as managers, it’s crazy and unprofessional
