This company is horrible! Do not apply here, you have been warned

As stated before management is horrible. I didn't make it past training. Their systems do not work properly and you have to deal with bad attitudes. They yell like we are children. It takes forever to get assistance, just don't do it. Apply elsewhere. Don't waste time and money. No wonder they are always hiring. HUGE turnover.

They are cold blooded and do not care!!!

I was recently let go 3rd day of training, because of tech issues that were the company's fault. They did absolutely nothing but waste our time with lies, stating that it would be taken care of. I'm a positive person, very patient and understanding, but what kind of company doesn't have a tech team that can resolve issues!! I spent 40.00 dollars for my background check and was pretty much rushed into a drug test and I did it. They don't care about you, no matter what generic response they might make. This was an EVIL move that was done on us people who just wanted to honestly do a good job and caused no problems whatsoever. Of course, we have to complain for changes to be made, but it's too late for us who have to be the casualties of their errors and wrong-doings. But of course, they don't care, cause they have their jobs!! Why is it that evil deeds always seem to get their way but good people are made to suffer for others' mistakes?

Choose your own hours and weekly pay

It is great company to work for if you want to work from home and choose your own hours. They have several different companies you are able to work with and compensation varies depending on the program you choose. They have been very understanding when I needed to miss shifts due to sickness. The negative aspect is that you are a contractor, so you have no paid holidays or time off.

Ok place

If you don't mind listening to people complain all day about issues you have no control over. This the perfect place for you. After working several months they finally put something in place when dealing with irate customers.

Easy to get hired if your looking for a quick position.

What is the best part of working at the company?I guess because you can make your own schedule. One plus of contractor roles, as you stated is you are able to select the shifts within the contract shift window that allow you to schedule shifts and support our clients when it works for you. Good for short term

Good for short term contracts, 1099 work. Different contracts available based on your qualifications. For example, bilingual individuals can usually find a contract with easy. Also, licenses in financial industries help with specialized contracts Remember that you are 1099. That means you are your own company contracted to do a service through a third party. You don’t have managers, you have trainers. Sometimes people forget what their role is. It’s up to you to help them remember.

Hard to get hours

It’s hard to get hours once they are released. The hours are taken quickly so it’s hard to make it a part time/full time job. Schedules are in 30 minute increments.

Tenative review, Im in training

Training has been great, I have learned a lot from my trainer and received further support outside of training. However, I have some classmates that have been late or missed mandatory huddles that are not being given a straight answer about whether they will still receive their training completion incentive, and that is very concerning to me considering over 2 weeks of training is completely unpaid.

Nice place

i love the work life balance omni has. The staff is very nice and omni emails you back very quickly about any and all concerns you may have. They have awesome pay incentives and they often do activities to make you feel included.

Flexible but comes with stress

Although the job allows flexibility with scheduling, it comes with risks as the shift supply and demand do not align most of the times. If there is not enough business they will place you offline. Also, the job itself is highly stressful.

Not sustainable long term. Don’t waste your time.

Training is long, unpaid, and the incentive details were not as presented initially, so it made it tough to actually commit to what they were asking for. It’s a lot of time and effort for no pay. They over-hired for Quickbooks and I went 3 weeks with no hours. Shifts drop for a week and are snatched up within 3 minutes. No exaggeration. You can’t even add a shift because it’ll say “unavailable” within seconds. There are no hours to pick up. You will not even get an opportunity to pick up 2 hours per week, much less 18. Management apologizes and acts like they didn’t know this would happen, but I think they do. They likely just try to sucker people into staying on with the promise of hours that never materialize. If you have bills to pay or kids to feed, this is not going to cut it. Spend your time looking for something consistent at a real company with actual hours available to work.

Nice side gig but not guarantee for a permanent job

What is the best part of working at the company?The best part of working at the company was being able to set your own hours whenever you want. Makes work life and home life a tad bit balanced.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The WORST part is the micromanaging and the CONSTANT changing of rules. Overhired and have no hours

You do not get paid for your training, and then once you go into production, they don't have any hours to go around. Was needing full time work but I cannot get more than 10-15 hours a week. There is also little to no support for new GBA's, you just put in a ticket and wait for a response while a frustrated customer is sitting on hold.

When Omni partners with client, they advise of the hours they need support from Omni’s contractors. This need can change hourly, daily or even weekly and Omni follows the clients lead. It’s a good hustle and you will gain experience

The workers are nice as well as the trainers. But extremely unstable! They will upscale or pull you out of production for training at any time. This results in not being in a position long enough. When you are pulled into training for next production , you will not get paid. You will only receive incentives after training. Then you have a short time toFinish modules. This is anOngoing thing.

Work From Home, Flexible

Pros: Flexible Schedule, work from home min 18 hours a week. And you can work up to 40 hours a week.Cons: If call volume is low you are asked to log off.

I worked for Omni for about 2 years this place is an okay to work. There is not enough projects to continue working and training is unpaid so there are some downsides to the flexible schedule.

Omni has great benefits (flexible hours, weekly pay, no overtime), but management makes it difficult to want to stay.

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexibility in scheduling when to workWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Meeting deadlines within 25 hrs notice of what to do, not being listened to and not treated with respect, and having a manager who gives you busy work even though you are maxed out with other work duties. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The more dedicated you are, the quicker Omni will end your contract. If you have an issue and go to People Support, they will end tour contract especially if the issue is with a manager or director. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Answering calls, assisting other GBAs, being blasted for any mistakes in front of the entire team, and being praised in private messages. Also, doing the work managers are supposed to do while they take credit for it.

Flexible but has its flaws

My main issue with working here was the struggle to get hours. When hours were posted, they were quickly taken which could backfire on you because there is a minimum amount of hours to work each week.

Horrible management let good employees go when they get shown up when it comes to knowledge hold grudges lie about bonuses and salary e.g. You don't get paid the incentives promised overstaffed make finding hours impossible
