NTT as a global organization is a huge company with many capabilities available to its clients and its employees. This is has come to prove itself as both NTT's blessing and its curse. The plus side: The sheer size of NTT does allow for career mobility (in theory) and there are endless options to branch out and further your career. Furthering education and skills growth are supported and there are many opportunities to do so, through reimbursement of costs and firm sponsored skills training. The down sides: NTT is so large and spread out that we here in DC feel left out and forgotten on an island almost. When there is a concern or complaint there are really no ways to express these things to upper management. Our direct managers on site, are usually just as clueless on issues and how to solve them as we are. Hard to transition to new opportunities. What started as an exciting chance to use my skill set, became a butt in seat position where the potential to transition off of a project was met with shoulder shrugs and "look up openings.." as a solution. Any global open employment lists available, always seemed to have been erroneous or the actual position desired had been filled by the time an employee could view its opening. Bonus structure was something we were told was a plus to being employed at NTT, however most of us, regardless of performance actually saw a bonus only once or twice in as many or more years (we were told it could be quarterly) the only big problem being there no rhyme or reason for the bonus. There were certainly no listed -

Good Place

Good Place to work. Full Benefits package. 401K, PTO, excellent benefits. Management easy to work with. Great assignments. Collaborative team environment.

Overall decent

Overall, a decent place to work. Good people. Projects vary. Limited interaction with own team. Strictly WFH. The future is uncertain based on the client.

It is ok

It is okay i guess. Could pay better obviously but no complaints as of now. Hopefully in the future they can make more company events to include everyone.

It's OK

Just OK. Initial salaries are good but no investment in people or promotion prospects so it won't get much higher than when you join. Being part of the "Gough Square" inner circle is key. If you're not in this circle then you have no opportunities.

Productive workplace

It's productive and fun job. But everything are different depending on the project. For example, during you have a contract with customer and excecute requirement definition, every one is extraordinary busy.

Fine Starting Job

I was hired by NTT DATA right out of college for their campus to careers program. Overall, it's a good company culture, with lots of happy hours, lunch & learns, and young professionals meetings. None of those are really my "thing," but the option to attend them is nice. Most people work remotely, but plenty of people go to the office as well.In terms of career growth and opportunities, it can be limited depending on which industry you choose to align with. There are certainly opportunities internally, or with our financial services clients, but some of the other industry practices are lacking. Promotion is not guaranteed, but if you do good work and gain experience it is likely. NTT's consulting practice is still growing and hiring every year, so I believe it will improve with time.

Productive and fun workplace

Good for start of career. Many projects, with different clients and many opportunites. If you are not happy to work in a particular client there's a possibility to change client to accomodate you.

Great culture! The leadership is always open to listening to new ideas. Remote work is a reality and a good work-life balance. Great school for entry-level employees.

Horrible experience

I joined company as a senior consultant.They don't have good number of projects.Job security is not at all there.Most of the projects are outsourcing only.

Management tries to be very supportive but I get the feeling their hands are tied a lot. Compensation is too low.

Work/life balance is excellent - full-time remote roles but there seemed to be a new direction from management as to prioritization every few weeks. Navigating the company website to get to basic info like health care/benefits/payroll seemed unnecessarily difficult compared to other big companies. Managers tried their best though -- it was not a toxic environment at all, just disorganized and staying motivated was challenging.

Good to work from learning prospective

Join to learn new technologies. Nothing more. Work life balance s less, it's depend upon the projects. Worst HR policies. Don't know why policies differ from location to location.

No work life balance, Hikes were very low 3-7 percent even for low salarie employees (below 4 lakhs), Management socks, Policies differ from location to location, 3 years bond to freshers with less than 3 lakhs package.

Can be a great place to work, I believe

I enjoy doing the work that I do. Working there just didn't work out for me. They had the work done already by someone else. So when I finished the task, they didn't take the work I provided. There was an employee that started working before me, He made the same claims.

Management is out of touch with employees.Cut 401k match while buying other companiesTeam collaboration is lacking in most practices in the companyLeadership is lacking with little strategic direction If you are looking for a promotion or bonus, this is not the place.Bench policy, 2 weeks and your are gone, it’s more like an exit strategy.

Good place for freshers but not much learning for experienced one.Best if you want to be manager.All depends on your personal interest.But overall good company.

Worst company I ever work in my life

Working in this company I learned almost nothing. Worst of all the contractor is worst. Imposes its points of view on how to conduct the job making use of an non competent, unprepared, non professional educated staff

Great Organization. They provided several great opportunities for all the staff to grow, learn and flourish. Time and effort at Mitsubishi, the ADA and ultimately the University of Chicago.
