While this was a great company in a lot of positive ways to work for, I can say without any hesitation that a great manager can raise a store up and bad management will sink a store faster than the Titanic. I loved most of my coworkers and developed good customer relationships with regulars. The pay on the other hand, or even the ability to grow and advance within the company, however are a joke. That is unless you are a high school or college kid with no real financial responsibilities. If you are looking to make a little extra cash, you will love it. If you are trying to make a living and provide for yourself without government assistance, you won't make it.
Worked as cashier, wasn’t completely bad but maybe since the time was chaotic they weren’t as like focused on each employee so got mixed up and put to do stuff they hadn’t taught me about or the training was too short (literally like a day or half) and then wanting you to be able to function alone if that makes sense but overall it was ok
JCP is a sick toxic company to work for. You are a slave and given the worst treatment from the top down. Gone are the days of respect and a culture of caring at a company. They trash their teams that are the core of the business and cheat the customers in every scheming way possible
