I started my carieer in Jabil in 2011 January as a buyer and I had good opportunity to got overall picture about the manufacturing in one of the largest workcell Blackberry. During this period I got comprehensive knowledge in SAP, supply chain, communication with supplier. I handled more than hundred of emails per day, organized conference calls with suppliers and customer.
After 1,5 year I changed my position and started work as an SQA Engineer in Ericsson workcell. After joining the team I took over the running issues from the leaving senior SQA engineer, and it was one of the greatest challenge in my career. Within Jabil there are no commodity SQA's team, there are workcell SQA's who responsible for all raw material claim handling (PCB, SMD components, mechanical, plastics).
Daily contact with raw material suppliers (mainly chinese and swedish), via e-mail and conference calls.
Use Supplier Performance/Scorecard system for all Suppliers and issue performance status reports to individual Suppliers. Initiate SCARs for unacceptable trends on performance and champion the closure of Supplier corrective/preventive actions.
Management of the supplier complaints, monitoring of blocked stock management of the incoming inspection.
Organizing return of non-conforming materials to suppliers, in accordance with purchasing, shipping and finance department.
