Es una gran marca, en la cual, se esmera por mejorar día a día. Existen situaciones donde los franquiciados no comparten ciertos criterios de servicio. Pero, IHG como tal es degrandes valores para aprender y compartir.
My time working at the Hotel was a great experience that I will forever appreciate. The time I worked there was a great opportunity to practice customer service and technical skills acquired at college and I was privileged to be offered this work experience.

Nine year veteran of IHG, Executive Mgt annually made organizational changes not based on baselines or justifications to drive initiatives. In other words, IHG's Org made changes just to make changes as it was part of the culture. Their "Five Winning Ways" are simply a joke as Exec Mgt does not live or represent the terms often repeated but not truly exercised. I was in a senior level position & very well know facts and countless examples on numerous facets Globally..

Franquicias, depende de las administraciones que tengan, es muy diferente trabajar en oficinas corporativas, uno hace amable el ambiente.
En los hoteles que a mí me toco laborar muy buen ambiente de trabajo, te capacitan mucho y claro que la exigencia es fuerte. Los directivos varían dependiendo de la administración que tengan pero en general te permiten trabajar y te apoyan. Los recursos son limitados por lo que en ocasiones piensas que siempre será así pero hay que abrir la mente y aprender a trabajar con lo que se tiene y a la vez saber aprovechar cuando hay recursos y ser muy estratégico. Lo mejor de todo es que te das a conocer en el medio ya que no son cualquier marca, son marcas internacionales.
The company itself feels like it’s a great company, but overall job quality is dependent on what hotel you’re at and who your team is. I worked briefly at Candlewood Suites in Brentwood, TN. A seemingly positive work environment was slowly revealed to be a bleak and miserable job. It’s a bummer because IHG as a parent company really invigorated me. I believed in their mission and values. I believe that my GM meant well, but was oblivious to how unhappy his team really was. Coworkers were often expected to make personal sacrifice, such as taking their kids to dance practice, to cover shifts that remained unfilled due to turnover. The Ops manager I worked with was, for lack of a better phrase, a miserable and lonely shell of a human being who made sure that people around him, including guests, left an interaction with him with a piece of his sadness. On multiple occasions I witnessed him being covertly abusive towards others and then eventually me. There was a pretty blatant drama issue, but that negative atmosphere seemed to be the result of poor management. Bottom line, I found this specific location to be a severely problematic place to work.
Management VERY unprofessional. Does not handle questioning situations accordingly. Worst front office managers I’ve ever witnessed. Security, Reservations, and food and beverage departments are okay. Front office is a mess and don’t know what they are doing.
Intercontinental Hotel Group is an hospitality type of industry business, it was my first time to work in this sector of industry ,the professionalism and Experience at IHG is of that high Standards beyond my expectations. The Guest Experience at IHG is highly welcomed and Fulfilled by the brand promise, it is really a nice place to achieve our Goals.
