Great place to work

As a janitorial worker at Google, my experience was largely positive, marked by a decent work environment that facilitated a sense of efficiency and support. One of the standout aspects of the job was the accessibility of the management team. They were approachable and responsive, always willing to lend an ear to concerns or suggestions, which fostered a collaborative atmosphere. This open-door policy significantly enhanced the working experience, as it made me feel valued and heard.Another commendable feature was the abundance of resources available. From state-of-the-art cleaning equipment to well-stocked supplies, everything needed to perform the job effectively was at hand. This abundance of resources not only made the work easier but also more enjoyable, as it allowed for a focus on quality and thoroughness.Overall, working as a janitor at Google was a fulfilling experience, blending a supportive management team with excellent resources, contributing to a productive and positive work environment.

Like it so far, management is well versed results oriented and driven. Cares about their employees well being. Would recommend it to work for but expect delay in results delivery

It was enjoyable to create content while having enough space for growth and receiving support from within. I had a great experience creating content in an environment that allowed for growth and provided ample support. The team was friendly and always kept me informed of any guidelines that needed to be followed. It was a pleasure to create content in such a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Good overall experience

Recruiting at Google was, For the most part, great! I’d say the main reason I can’t give it 5 stars is that you are essentially just a cog in a machine. As such, you are very replaceable. At the beginning of the year and even as recent as a month or so ago, I’ve seen thousands of Google employees let go at the drop of a hat. Googles leadership is great when it’s east to be great, Not so much when it’s difficult.

A Google analytic authorized rep negotiates with companies that are going out of business to send the ,ir at least some of the gift cards they have to other countries bc there going to the gift card grave yard anyway .the hardest part of the job was feeling sorry for them.Themost enjoyable part was helping IWill tell you a story ,one day I was watching tv and a commercial came on and a woman and child wer standing there and they had nowhere to live ,no school ,no help from the govt ,and I could not imagine what I would do if that wre me,it just was a way I could help and I know that GOD had everything to do with it.

Enjoyed the job. Provide the opportunity for flexibility working from home. As well as obtaining new skills and sharpening them. Was a really good opportunity.

my job state

I work a exemplary job at Google and here is my opinion on what it is like. The work-life balance is good, I'm able to hash out my favorite hobbies on a day to day basis while keep a good stream of my workflow.

Just a regular company with free food

Google has changed a lot in the last 5 years. The culture it was once known for is gone, thanks to senior leadership. There is no more Career development opportunities or budget for travel/offsites (for certain orgs they deem less than). They made it nearly impossible to get promoted. Googlers are extremely competent and work really hard to hit the impossible goals leadership gives us- they are motivated to do so knowing we had our culture that balanced it out. Now - that the culture is gone, there is less motivation to work hard. We are being burnt out, and there is no reward (no fun, no promo or upward trajectory). I think there is still a lot of good things going on at the company. The people are amazing, creative, innovative, intelligent, and collaborative. The benefits are top notch. And Google does a lot of good in the world - we are all very proud of that. But since the culture is so different than it once was, and the leadership only cares about the billionaire investors - things are going downhill. It is not the company it was in 2018. It is a regular company.... that pretends its amazing because it offers free meals and fun hats.

google has a work centric culture which makes it difficult to manage family and social life due to the long working hours, despite all the perks of working here.

Good company to work for

It is a nice workplace. Lots of stuff to learn, really great colleagues, seeing things at scale one'd rarely come across otherwise. Great office spaces also

felt well compensated for my work. Had a good team around me.Would recommend getting a job here, difficult to do so as lots of competition. Can occasionally be mentally taxing.

The company provides a lot of benefits: free food, gym membership and a chill environment with puffs and a kicker table. All the people is kind and they help you when you need it. Also, you have the chance to work in various projects and to see the company growing.
