Employees are overworked, and there is MANDATORY overtime, but it's veiled. Like you have to get a certain number of reviews done per week. If you get less done in one day because of mandatory education or whatever normal variable occurs, no problem! Just make up for it by working extra later in the week. Constantly reminded that you are salary, and that you need to get the required production accomplished. No support from management. Nearly impossible to get time off approved.

The company is not well organized. The managers of coders have no coding experience/do not know coding and have no coding certification. Managers aggressive/brash and have favorites. Clicky groups. Insurance high. Lackluster benefits. Barely any opportunity for advancement. Holds employee to one year before can transfer between depts. Old systems which are slow. Producitivity unreasonable. HR impossible to get in touch with --no phone number have to email and takes foever for them to return email. Performance evals a joke. No matter if your work is perfect, you get no raise unless you work tons of overtime.

Worst 6 month of my life

Management was horrible. You could never get a direct answer from them, or consistent answer. No one knows the rules and the rule change so much you can barely keep up with them. They’ve done multiple mass layoffs and give the reason of “workforce reduction” - they are way over budget and can’t afford to pay people so they lay them off. You CANNOT get ahold of HR directly, only by email, but they take forever to reply. You get your schedule and then are told / forced to change “due to business needs”. Depending on your manager, they may be more laid back and understanding of work/life balance, however upper management is not.

Lackluster

Hard to transition. Leadership not supportive when it comes to wanting change. Been in the same department with no promotion. There are employees who have been discouraged from applying to new positions.

Nothing Stands out

Would not recommend working for this company. Yearly layoffs/work force reductions that take place October/November of every year. Long days and really no promotions/pay increases.

Great Job

HMS/Gainwell Technologies is one of the best places I have ever worked at.The pay is great, and I have a work from home job. I have been with this company since 2008 where I was a temp and now I have moved up in the company to being in a senior postion.

The constant changing of the procedures. The lack of motivation. Their overall expectations versus reality. Also, they don’t follow protocol when it comes to coachings. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment can be stressful under pressure and they don’t care. They don’t care about their employees. Only getting the job done as if we were robots.What is a typical day like for you at the company?A typical day is pretty fair if you don’t make a mistake and have a QA.

Replacing US workers with Indian Resources.

Gainwell is currently a blood bath for US workers. They are moving work to WiPro a company based out of Bangalore, India. Even though there are still open positions, US workers are being l shown the door, not being realigned. Mis-management at its best!

It's an average place to work. I guess it depends on how important it is for you to get real feedback.

It is a decent place to work, but there is a disconnect between management and staff as well as between account and corporate levels. Performance reviews are a rubber stamp, so you can ride under the radar, but that isn't what I am looking for.

Worst Company Ever! Run!!!

Leadership is incompetent. Communication from the leadership team is non existent. Systems never work properly. They have no concern for their employees well being. To lay off multiple employees right before the holidays is despicable. It’s been red flag after red flag. Please do not consider working for this company. Run!!!

I worked for this company for 2 years. It started out so well! The company at the time was DXC. DXC sold the company and It is now Gainwell Technologies LLC. This company has really went down. They have terrible systems. Things are always going wrong here. I feel bad for the CSR's here. This companies phone lines don't stop ringing. This company was not the place for me

Interesting at the moment

I've been moved all over the place. I started out in Nashville as a Sr Professional BA, but was transferred to a DDI team with little notice of the transition. No training on new position. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I didn't have to work for the prior BA manager. The transfer offered more on the job training with some very good people. This week, they started doing layoffs, which has totally caught everyone off guard. So, my anxiety has shot up, not knowing from one day to the next if I'm going to get that call.

Honest Review

Job duties were not difficult, however, my role was heavily relied on during our overtime. Management was practically nonexistent. Outside of onboarding, you would likely would not hear from them unless you made a mistake. Low pay and lack of growth sealed the deal for me. It was time to move on.

Worst Professional Job Experience Ever

Gainwell reached out to me with a job offer. I was hired very quickly, I was asked about 4 interview questions and then hired in the interview on the spot ( red flag ). Training was horrible and all over the place. Were trained as call center pharmacy technicians and then got randomly switched to clincial technicians without notice. From the start pay roll was heavily flawed. Many team members never got their checks or only got half. I wasn’t effected by the nonsense until last week. Missed a whole weeks of my pay, I address management about the situation, the weekend pass and I get a mandatory group meeting and was laid off by gainwell with one week of severance pay. Gainwell is a horrible company. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here. You’ll never know if you will get a full pay check or get paid on time and when you ask about the money that you have rightly owed they will retaliate and fire you. I know this company won’t last long with the flaws and unprofessional of the toxic work environment!
