Working in a warehouse environment with extremely physical work that has to be done quickly to get mail to customers. Not much compensation and mostly part-time work. There is some opportunity for advancement, but it is difficult to advance unless you are willing to relocate. Good for a part-time job if you have other sources of income.
The job is what it is. A frat party with disorganization, bullying, racism, sexism. Supposed to be logistics but not 1 manager can run the facility correctly. I was threatened by management during an 11hr shift with only 1 15 min break during. This job is for the mentally unstable and those who dont care about their body or future.
Fedex located in SacramentoPackage delivery handler I’m about destinations for packages need to be picked up or delivered and deliver them or pick them up and bring them back to the warehouse to process them for me this job is part-time I’m not really into it
The job itself wasnt terrible but the equipment never worked making it terrible. They would also blame me for inefficient times when It wasn’t within my control due to faulty equipment. Certain scanners wouldn’t read barcodes at all.
Fedex is great start for those going into the work force. Teaching valuable lessons about communication, peers, and effort in living. Quick to and easy hiring process and worthy information to learn on and off the job.
I’ve worked here for about a year and the hours were very inconsistent. They hire you for a full position but it doesn’t even guarantee you 40 hours a week. To get benefits takes a while, and no over time. So you have to bills to pay, this isn’t the job where you’ll be making the most money. If you want to wait 3 months for benefits to hit then it’s the job for you. In my opinion not even worth it
Stressed out job is not worth it fed ex ground is full of pirates who want all they’re money for them selves want to pay employees peanuts and expect good results. If they paid good the packages and delivery system would be good. Contractors get paid a lot and want to mAke as much money as they can so they pay the drivers fck all
Do not work here unless you need the money badly management is poor and no chance to move up unless you have strong connections the company is going under and they cut hours often to meet budget but want you to continue to work as hard
It's a very physically demanding job. Non stop work for 3 hours most days with no breaks. You will be lifting heavy packages, if they're too heavy you can always ask a team member. It's mind numbingly easy robotic tasks. You just lift things up and put them down. The facility that I work in is very clean and they take pride in that. The pay is very competitive for the warehousing job market. There are plenty of opportunities to grow you just might have to move locations to achieve your next goals.
It’s OK if you like sitting around waiting for loads and waiting to pick make money for your truck my truck cannot run sit and steal it Hass to stay moving so is that working out for me not that I don’t like custom critical Fed ex just not working for me
If you are looking for job security and decent benefits this is the place for you. No work life balance for supervisors or management. Hourly it is a little better as the hours are compensated and there is an incentive to get you out before it costs too much to continue to be profitable.
Fortune 500 company and top employer consistently. Seemed like they were trying to improve on work life balance. Nothing really bad to say.
