I worked at 3 different Chick-fil-A locations in 3 different states over the course of 5 years. While some cultures were better than others, the one constant was that I never really felt supported by my managers. It seemed like the leads were never on the same page, in house fighting lead to the team suffering, and my knowledge of the company and how things worked always seemed to be mocked by those who felt threatened by it. Those who work hard and do things the right way shouldn't be mocked and teased. Managers shouldn't be bullying employees for expecting things are done the right way. If you want someone to "step up", you should lay out exactly what you want from them instead of making them guess.
That being said, working with the other employees were some of the best times of my life. I made amazing friends, met amazing Customers, and will never forget my 5 years with CFA.
