The culture was terrible, many employees would come in high and there was a lot of cursing. They gave raises to their friends instead of the people who derved the raises. Employees who had been there for years were still working at the rate they started,
Everyday was different from the rest. Some days went by smooth and you can get people out quickly. Other days were tough when you have 3 buses outside.
I would recommend it for a high school kid who is ok with dealing with stress. It was an ok job the managers were just unsure about they're priorities. Your hours could be cut short dur to labor.
Free lunch if you wore your uniform
Hours were uncertainty, managers were not as expirencied
The environment here is rather fast and demanding of it's employees. You have to drop everything immediately to help a customer, no matter what you're doing. Often times I had to do other people's jobs.
25 minute breaks
This particular chick fil a is the only double drive through in Florence, so naturally you expect it to be super busy. At times the lines can lead out into mall traffic and the walk up line can lead into the front parking lot. Hardest part of the job is honestly dealing with so many people people and getting people through the drive through in under minutes
A typical day was filled cooking, cleaning and restocking. Our slowest days were Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday were the busiest. I learned lot about how the food was prepared in my favorite restaurant. Management from what I observed was based on how they felt when they came in that day. If they were in a good mood it was going to be a good day if not get ready to be yelled at for little to no reason. The hardest part of the job was trying to make sure management could find one thing to complain about. Such as morning shift leading dishes in the morning or anything they half do or just plain forget and night shift gets the blame for it. The most enjoyable part was people you work with they become a second family to you.
payed lunches, flexible shcedules, nice co-workers
A ton of dishes to wash, mood changing managers, and unfair treatment of those in the back.
