When working at Chick-fil-A, a typical day is going in around 7-8am. You are assigned a position and work it until you get a break, which is usually before 10:30am (so no one is on break during the lunch rush). As Cashier, you either work the front counter - taking orders and making drinks, face-to-face - taking orders outside, register - taking payments outside, or drive thru - which may include bagging orders, making drinks, or handing out food. Throughout the whole day, you restock and clean during the appropriate times.
I would say that the higher up management are lovely and very professional. They connect with their employees and customers. It's a great work environment.
The hardest part of the job is maintaining the rushes. It can become overwhelming and become stressful at times.
The most enjoyable part is the employees and the customers. Everyone's great!
