We started working as soon as we entered the pharmacy. Customers are waiting at the front register and at drive-thru for pharmacy to open and start work. Everyone in the pharmacy worked very hard and non-stop. I liked working with my coworkers. They never took their 15 minutes breaks because they knew no one was their to cover them. Everyone had to do multitask to keep up with the work load. We had work board which we used to assign places and work to individual technician. This helped us manage and organze the pharmacy.

It is very stressful and a lot of learning involved, sometimes calls can be back to back but they have too many expectations and micromanagement is on top of the roof but not too bad

Difficult and very stressful

I felt alone, no one listened to me. I asked constantly to learn more about doing different things and I was pushed aside. They never made me feel comfortable and the amount of favoritism was sad to watch.

Great first job

CVS is a great place to start working for a first job. You get breaks during your shifts and your responsibilities are added to the longer you work there. Looks good on resumes.

Straight to the point job

The job is easy with opportunities to do overtime. If you're looking to do 50+ hours this is the job for you. Unfortunately coworkers with senority were gossipers & mischievous.

A good starting job, busy schedule. Being a bigger company there are not many improvements requested from staff based on work environment and difficulties.

Fun, but unappreciated

It was a fun environment most of the time, but unrealistic expectations. Short-staffed, underpaid, rude customers, I would return back in the future maybe when there is more staff.

There are good days and bad days, dealing with the public will always be a task. Room for growth, flexible hours as my store was 24 hours as well as pharmacy opportunities.

interpersonal drama started by so many employees for no reason with the company and the higher up not caring whatsoever about how it affects the work environment.

very easy job

cvs is a good place to work if it’s your first job, however, you have to deal with rude customers all the time, and have to deal with rude managers as well so if you’re a sensitive person i wouldn’t recommend cvs, it requires a lot of patience, they expect you to be all up in the customers, you have to say hi to every single person that comes in the store, their expectations are really high when it comes to customer service, overall its a whatever job.

A complete waste of my time

I started at the bottom packing been working a lil over two years I took on responsibilities and never was paid for them like training unlocking setting up the floor for the day never compensated managers/supervisors play the blame game CVs is a joke

its good when its good and not when its not. The management is what the biggest issue with the place and customers will be customers but overall not bad a t all.

Very corporate and you have a lot of micromanagement. Good work/life balance. Another con is you do have to take call and float to other areas if someone calls out.

The entire process has been satisfactory in all assigned tasks. Attentive staff and a pleasant environment where Safety standards are applied in the Work Environment, Good attitude of the Manager and a Satisfactory Workday.
