Senior Account Executive (Volt alkalmazott) – Pittsburgh, PA – 2018, június 25.
I worked in a small office in Pittsburgh, PA where the majority of the staff worked on the marketing side of the business. I have zero support staff and was told to to talk in client meetings. I was never comfortable at this office and received no support from my management team.
Hostile work environment, no management support, no work/life balance
CFO Latin America (Jelenlegi alkalmazott) – Miami, FL – 2018, május 15.
Burson Marsteller is a very professional company, which employees the best people in the PR world. Needs improvements like other organizations especially in the areas of career advancements and benefits, but they manage to maintain people engaged by keeping a culture of honesty, collaboration and teamwork. Burson as a part of the WPP conglomerate should take more advantage of its network
Manager (Volt alkalmazott) – New York, NY – 2018, április 26.
This is a terrible workplace. The management are a-holes with their fancy title. They are incompetent, and no idea how to operate a company. Their business is shrinking, and losing revenue and staff on a monthly basis. There is no accountability among senior management. If you want a career, DO NOT work here. They just keep merging other similar WPP companies until it looks like it is making money on paper.
Excellent Place To Work At Any Stage In Your Career
Senior Associate (Volt alkalmazott) – New York, NY – 2018, január 31.
While many people come to Burson-Marsteller because of the name, you will find much more when you arrive. The company culture is improving each day, with new opportunities for diversity and inclusion. The clients range from national to blue chip to Fortune 500 and Fortune 100. There's ample opportunities to grow, but sometimes it does depend on who you know within the firm, also WPP, the parent company. Where B-M falls short is work-life balance, as hours can be long, hard and tedious. Plans can become derailed quickly due to client demands and same-day deliverables. Like all PR firms, B-M does what it can, but work-life balance won't come easy here.
Business Data Analyst Intern (Jelenlegi alkalmazott) – Washington, DC – 2017, október 12.
I was a summer intern at Burson-Marsteller working as a Data Analyst for the Business Development team. I believe that the work done in this company in the space of analytics is not great. If you're looking to make a career in PR and communications, this might just be the place to be but the company is not very tech savvy.
What a diverse group. Never the same day at the office. From client meetings to client events. Great place to work at if you are in the Public Relations firms. So many different areas to learn and grow in.
Public Relations Corporate Intern (Volt alkalmazott) – 上海市 – 2017, január 10.
I highly value my experience working at Burson-Marsteller Shanghai. The atmosphere was great and I learned a lot working for the Account Executive. I was given a lot of opportunities to learn and assist the account teams with their PR initiatives. Great bosses.
