I liked my job until just recently. The company is moving to a new building and my position will most likely be eliminated. I was given no warning of this before their big announcement and then they preceded to cut my hours and pay to a point I have no choice but to seek employment elsewhere. I have felt all along that the support and training were very sparse and lacking. Most times I am left to figure things out for myself unless I specifically ask for help because I just don't understand something.
good friendly people to work with
little to no support, training or meetings to keep staff informed
Managers were always arguing with each other and would also argue and make a big scene with the supervisors in front of the customers. There were many complaints to HR from the employees because of the managers.
Make you over work with no break
Aramark has far to many employees and fails to give anyone a reasonable amount of hours. The Manager I worked for had trouble remembering me everytime we spoke.
Lunch, Good people.
Bad Management, Lack of hours.

I dont have any issues in working with pople in a fast pace,I'm willing to earned and willing to work with other people in that way I gain more knowledge
During break time willing to interact with other to be more productive
Know worries in working long hours
This was my first job and I had no car, so the commute was long, but this seasonal job was perfect for a student who studied during winter and spring, and had free-time during the summer. It's good for the short-term. You meet all kinds of customers so you learn how to connect and problem solve in different ways to help most of them if not all of them. I don't remember it being perfect in its management, but it was good enough for me at the time. (This was at the Rogers Centre, by the way)
Got to hear some artists perform while at work, like Beyonce
I enjoyed learning to handle customers and gain more experience with customer service on good and bad days
A typical day would go by fast, would ask customers what they want and we’ve the food and beverage. I learned how to handle customers with a more calm, settled down manner and always dealt with problems in a proper manner. The culture is very advanced I felt very comfortable working there overall.
There is no room to advance at all, people are much too comfortable and have been here for many many years. Upper management is poor, they will expect a lot but give no support. All departments are for themselves, will work together if they have to, but otherwise it is quite isolated.
Benefits/RRSP, some good management
Poor job culture, not a fulfilling job
The workers are really nice and friendly. Seasonal and flexible with hours of work. Taught me a lot about handling costumers and problem solving. Very good environment to work at especially if its your first time working.
50% off meals
Short hours, short of staffs
It's a fast paced work environment. Management are great and staffs are nice. I learned to handle cash and multi-task. Hardest part of this job is when it gets so busy. The most enjoyable part of the job is that working alongside with my colleagues who are fantastic and serving fans/costumers.
discount on foods and tickets for bluejays game
long standing and short hours
