It was a fun and enjoyable experience.

A typical day at work depended on if I was the one running the concession stands, helping with caterings, or working at Java city. With concessions I would load everything needed up on a golf cart from the kitchen and take it to the gym then set up. After the third quarter I would start shutting down to be leaving right as the game ended then went back to count the profits of the night. When I catered I helped plate the desserts, filled and moved all the glasses, set the tables, served the guests, took up the dishes, and help clean up. At Java City I made espressos, javalanches, sandwiches, cookies, cut the deli and cleaned the machines. I also waited on the customers, counted the money down out of the drawers, and cleaned the store. The manager right over me was amazing but the head manager that was new to the job a few weeks before I left cut all of the hours back to my original job that I was hired for and there were no games going on at the time so I was out of a job due to being without a check for two weeks. The hardest part of the job was caterings and trying not to spill anything. The most enjoyable part was that the job was on my college campus, I got to meet new people, and it helped me to not be shy.
