no help from “managers” They want to micromanage what you do But will not help you when you need it most. Need responsible people! Not people who come to make “friends” and group up on new employees. Grow up

They have it all together

Great place to work .. friendly and helpful and keeps you busy .. especially in peak .. make better pay and lots of overtime huge lunch room . Fairly easy tasks

Pretty good work for unskilled labor

Schedules break shifts, the a to z app is incredible. I scheduled myself 59 hours before my first shift. Wear good socks, comfy and safe shoes. Simple but demanding job, follow direction and learn from other; but allow yourself to develop a style that works for you.

I didn't want to leave this job, I loved the work the management and everything! Great place to work! They treat their workers well a morale is always high. I loved this job!

Regular job

Just clock-in and do your job, and you will be fine. For the meanwhile this is a great solution to bring income but not for a long term. good luck getting bathroom break.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?I clock in get my station and they let me go. I love it.

I took the job because it met my scheduling requirements. But upon being hired and during the orientation we were told that we had mandatory overtime on specific days and we could not change them.

Good pay and great co workers

Long hours but ultimately a solid place to work. Straining on the body but you get used to it over time. Management is laid back and don't tend to micromanage as long as you have a decent rate. Does get repetitive but most jobs do. Pay is decent, and benefits they offer after being employed for 90 days are very nice

Physically overworked and not paid enough for the work they want done.

Personally Amazon looks at each of their employees as a number and not a person. They care more about making numbers than they do, your overall physical and mental health. I wouldn’t recommend anyone I know personally to work here.

Great place to work, great management, poor job advancement

Don't know about other Amazon facilities but this one was great. Amazing managers and PAs, always willing to help out and give you a hand. Hours are reasonable, you can get PTO automatically if you have accumulated some with enough warning. Very serious about safety and concerned about employee well-being. You come in, attend a short meeting and do some exercise, get assigned a task and work for about 2-3 hours. Break and then work for another like that until lunch break and then repeat until you go home. Work is not hard but requires you to be serious and not goof off. Facility could use a upgrade but that is up to corporate. Job advancement is abyssal - whether you get perm or not is random and up to HR (re:corporate) regardless of job performance.

Not the best.

It was decent pay, but I received barely any training and the hours are long to the point that it takes a toll. A 15 minute break is ridiculous for 10 hours of work.

Repetitive hot environment

Not a place to work if you get sick easily with heat .. they really don’t care about you as long as you make rate terrible environment it’s way too hot .. not enough air conditioning or fans.. and most of the water Dispensers don’t work

Fun workplace, cool management

I work in ship dock and i love it. Although there are 10 hr shifts; which can feel like a drag when things are slow, the job i pretty fast paced which makes the hours fly by. There is not rate and you switch job functions after lunch.

The dock management change 4 times in 8 months. Is a laid-back place to work but managers cater to certain people and give them the easy jobs and puts double work on others.

Horrible work environment/ Horrible HR & employee resources

Company HR doesn’t offer any close relationship or communication for employees. Too many workers/management ratio- managers rarely engage with employees. Hard work is never recognized or rewarded. Performed at peak levels & was never provided resources to advance or receive reasonable raise. Also ERC is outsourced and you often don’t have any recourse when they can screw up your entire job!

Decent pay; has its perks and downsides

Starting wages are decent at about $18.05. Every facility doesn’t operate the same meaning you either go into work knowing what you’ll be doing today or a monopoly system will pick it for you. Can be frustrating when leadership has daily or frequently changing and/or new policies that they want to implement. It’s repetitive work which can be good or bad for some. Opportunities for growth. Decent attendance system. Work accommodations (depending on the type) can be frustrating to get into place. Every one has different experiences. Depends on what you like as person.

Productive good pay

Very good company. The hours are good and the pay weekly is the best. Very polite and knowledgeable supervisors. Training is well put together for specific roles.
