The job was awesome at first. But over time, the goals and expectations of performance became unrealistic. No help from superior or team leads when dealing with angry abusive customers.Save yourself and Your SOUL!

They are all about numbers. They tell you in training it’s about quality not quantity but after training they throw you to the wolves and are all about call handle time and don’t care about quality. Micromanaging and all about metrics

It helped balance work and life activities

I've worked remotely for more than two years, it was very helpful for someone like me who likes balancing work and life activities. They compensated for the internet allowance since we were working remotely.

Management,production

Management was horrible. Never a set manager. Always losing clients,so production was always getting cut or moved to a new department. Training was bad as well. Would not recommend as a long term job

no consideration for tenure employees

They would rather have numerous turnover (cheeper) employees than to take care of tenure whom are responsible, they do not give out raises to help with cost of living going up, you will make the same amount of money as someone who walks in off the street

Only if you’re desperate

It was fairly simple to get the job. The account I worked with didn’t provide any sick days or holiday pay. For holidays that the account was closed, we were required to work on a day off for a full 40. It can be easy to move up to different positions but management was very iffy and there seemed to be favoritism. If you only go in and do what you’re required to do, then you should be fine. If you don’t like constant customer service, then it’s not for you because after three months, you start to dread going in.

Could be better.

I really don't have too many bad experiences with Alorica. The only thing I can definitely say needs improvement is the equipment and the urgency of the management. Half the place is falling apart, despite being a huge call center. And you gotta literally get on the backs of management to make any sort of communication work, or else you're left in the dark.

Worked from home was good and understanding

Managers were pretty good at understanding and working with you just some training classes don't prep you correctly and leave you a bit lost and kinda slow and the attendance policy is a bit unfair

Poor employment

Not a very understanding company to be employes by and they will let you go on making mistakes instead of trying to help u with more training and letting u keep the mistakes jyst to let u go.

Great area for CSR experience

The good : Not bad being able to work from home. Huge benefit saving on car expense. It's a fantastic place for experience in many areas of customer service. Great to put on the resume.The Bad : Not much to offer in regards to advancement - unless you like to do team lead or training - although the different campaigns/clients can be good. I was certain knowledge, performance and quality of work would put you on top of the map, but it would seem that is not always true as there may be a play on personal favoritesAlorica has a laggy system to work with. It depends on the campaign of course. It was the Hardest part for sure .Pay really is dependent on performance. You can make some extra if you hit your targets . Overall, I like the atmosphere with Alorica and highly value all the great opportunities for work experience

No career advancement

Summary says it all. It was a good company to work for before but I think ever since the pandemic came the management just became unreliable and there's no path for career advancement.

Fun workplace

This company worked with my school schedule. Nothing else to say. There is nothing else to say it was just a “job” while I finished school. You were stuck to a phone all day.

Good Place to Work

It was okay working here for the most part, different departments had different dynamics but comparable to other call centers. They were also doing some remodeling.

Newbie-friendly environment

Kuddos to the team leaders, specially to the team that I've been with. Great management. Friendly environment. Accepts Highschool Graduate and giving chances to all.

The company makes promise but don't honor what they say

They out source your campaign and promise to find jobs for everyone and honor medical accommodations and employess are just a number. After almost 15 years they sent job overseas because of medical issues am not able to work 40 hours but had work part-time for several years on site. Was not able to get internet in home and thought the understood that I would take job that was offer

Steady job

Very unprofessional played over people money and had favorites. The job was fast paced not long training. You have to catch on fast and they will fire you

they throw you on the floor with less than adequate training.

they throw you on the floor with less than adequate training. training is horrible, they throw you on the phones with real customers and expect you to figure it out on your own.

Don’t work here!!

Worst place to work! Management is terrible! They blame you because they dont trained you well/at all! System always broken! They make you clock out when the system is working on there end and they say its your fault! Im begging you pleace dont work here! Run as far and as fast as you can from this place. There is no holiday! They want you to do everything under the sun for only $15hr!

It’s ok

It’s good work place but you have to have the mindset to work there. You have to work really really hard to get recognition and even if you work really hard there is no grantee they will recognize your effort.
